Einhell was founded in 1964 by Josef Thannhuber, based in Landau Germany (approximately 1 hour from Munich). Originally known as Hans Einhell the company produced switch gears and transformers. By 1966 Einhell moved into a new production facility and the product range had expanded to include battery chargers, welding equipment, cable drums, tool boxes and charcoal grills. By this time, the focus on the car, tool, garden and leisure product segments was already established. |
